FAQ

How does it work?

During treatment, you will lie down comfortably. A skilled technician will use a device with a special handheld applicator to blow crystals onto the skin and then remove them with suction.

The technician will make multiple passes over problem areas that need greater improvement. We adjust the amount of suction as necessary for a gentle or more aggressive treatment.

What happens after microdermabrasion?

There's no downtime, but it's a good idea to use sun protection following microdermabrasion. Microdermabrasion treatments are often performed as a series. Once your desired results are achieved, maintenance sessions may be recommended to extend your results.

Who performs microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is frequently performed by an aesthetician or nurse after consultation. If necessary, one of our surgeons or dermatologists may also perform the treatment.

Where is the treatment performed?

This is a simple outpatient office procedure. Our office is located less than a mile east of Integris Baptist Medical Center at 2520 NW Expressway in Oklahoma City.
