We pair local anesthesia with sedation to manage discomfort and help the patient remain calm during facelift surgery. On its own, local anesthesia provides a numbing effect. Depending on your needs, we can provide a more moderate level of sedation or general anesthesia. Our team is fully certified to provide general anesthesia at our private surgical center.
Do facelifts include the neck?
No. Facelift surgery only addresses the portion of the face from the jaw to the upper cheeks. If you're considered with banding, fat deposits, or loose skin on your neck, discuss neck lift surgery with Dr. Lowe during your consultation.
