Lip Implants

Full, luscious lips are considered a modern ideal. Unfortunately, as we age, our lips can become thinner and less youthful.

Lip implants can create the plump, shapely pout you desire. What’s more, they can last a lifetime.

Why choose implants over dermal fillers?

Implants Can Transform Your Lips

Entirely Customizable Treatment

Lip implants come in many sizes and shapes and can be trimmed to complement your smile. There are several types you can choose from, some more rigid and others more flexible.

Long-Lasting Results

While dermal fillers are temporary and require maintenance every few months, implants are permanent and can actually be more cost-effective in the long-term.

More Refined Than Fillers

The shape of your pout will change based on the amount of filler used and the location of injection. In contrast, the shape of implants remains the same

How Do Implants Compare to Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are an excellent way to temporarily enhance the size and shape of your pout. Fillers can range in cost from $450 to $800 per syringe and can last between 4 and 6 months.

Implants, in contrast, are a permanent solution. Each implant costs between $1,500 and $3,000. If you are ready to commit to a long-term enhancement, lip implants may be the best option for you.

Your doctor will then carefully thread the implant through the tunnel, before trimming it to the proper length and closing the incisions.

Your Doctor Can Recommend the Best Implants For Your Needs

The most popular types of lip implants are GORE-TEX®, SoftForm, and Ultrasoft. GORE-TEX implants are made from a common material used during surgery. They are more rigid but very dependable. SoftForm implants have a tubular shape and are less likely to move out of place. Ultrasoft is the newest version of SoftForm implants, and they are reputed to be three times softer.

Don’t let thin lips detract from your self-confidence. Implants can quickly and easily transform your lips and enhance your beauty. Talk to your doctor about your options.
